Chicken Parmigiana


Ingredients:
For the chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the topping:

Fresh basil leaves
Extra grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2️⃣ Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

3️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

4️⃣ Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top. 🍅🧀

5️⃣ Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10-15 minutes. ⏳

6️⃣ Garnish with fresh basil leaves and extra grated Parmesan cheese before serving. 🌿🧀
